When requesting an accommodation, you may have questions about the interactive process and what kinds of accommodations your employer is obligated to consider. When requesting leavel, you may want to know whether your job will be protected while out on leave, whether you can receive wages or other compensation during leave, and whether your health benefits will continue while out on leave. I can educate you about your legal rights and options and help demystify this process.

Your manager may be interfering with or retaliating against you for exercising your rights to accommodation or leave. If so, swift, decisive legal action may be required. You may need to submit a complaint to the California Civil Rights Department or a charge with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission for investigation. Or you may need to file a lawsuit against your employer. While the process can be intimidating, I can help reduce overwhelm and guide you through it, all while protecting your best interests.
